Asian Beauty Report is a magazine about Asian beauty from inside the profession, in English and Russian. We started with Korea and write about how salons, stylists, academies and brands actually work.
Founder and editor
Oksana Prisyazhnaya is the founder and editor of the magazine, the founder of the Versiya Lab studio and academy in Moscow, and an organiser of Korean perm training.
In 2026 she trained twice at MASSTIGE HAIR Academy in Seoul with the academy's creative technical director Hong Jihoon: a restorative digital perm seminar in March and one-to-one training in cold perm and root volume in August. The photos and video in the magazine were taken there.
How we work
- Prices come with a date and a currency. Every price says when it was checked and in which currency.
- Figures come with a source. Market data, tourism figures and entry rules are always linked to a source the editors opened before publishing.
- Photos are our own. Our own photos and video, or with written permission from the salon. We do not take images from other people's social media.
- No medicine. The magazine does not cover cosmetology, plastic surgery or dermatology.
- Connections are disclosed. Links to projects of our founder and affiliate links are marked, see the advertising disclosure.
